Ideating, learning, strategising, and problem-solving spark my fire!
The entrepreneurial bug caught me young. When I founded my first start-up in 1996, a few years out of college, I wanted to do something that was technology-driven, clean, and scalable. These attributes continue to guide me in whatever I do.
Having founded start-ups in Information Technology, Retail & eCommerce and managed family businesses in the areas of Warehousing & Real Estate, have allowed me to broaden my horizons.
The boundless ways that innovation and exponential technologies are impacting how we learn, play, work & live excites me and I enjoy learning and discussing this. Thinking about the opportunities that lie in store for us, is what keeps me up at night.
Exploring new areas - be it getting a black belt in Taekwondo, scuba diving, running the marathon, trekking, or working on an idea to solve the world's biggest challenges! I am always ready for adventure.
I am part of the leadership team at SingularityU Kolkata Chapter, an Angel Investor and President of Rotary Club of Calcutta Chowrenghee for the year 2020-21, where we are enabling underprivileged children through the use of digital eLearning.
I am always up to brainstorm out-of-the-box solutions and to share my insights with entrepreneurs or businesses.
