I enjoy entrepreneurship and leading change through business transformation. Besides board room positions I also enjoy making my own hands dirty. Examples of some of my projects are:
- Development of a service business in Europe, North America and Asia for railroad companies using smart weeding systems based using sensors and AI to keep railroad tracks weed free, clean and safe reducing pesticide use with 50-80%
- Development of drone analytics and applications in forestry, agriculture and infrastructure management projects.
- Statistical (sales) forecasting based on AI and machine learning as input to improve production, supply and inventory planning; reducing costs whilst improving service levels and customer satisfaction.
- Combining vision technology and AI to identify pests that are hard to detect but have a detrimental impact on health such as bed bugs. This technology allows to identity the presence of a pest in a room before it can do any harm.
